THE HONORABLE NATHAN C. STALLER LAW SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The Honorable Nathan C. Staller Law School Scholarship Award was established to honor the late Nathan C. Staller, a member of both the Cape May County and New Jersey State Bar Associations. The Scholarship is awarded to qualified law school students who hail from the three Southern New Jersey Counties, Cape May, Cumberland and Atlantic. It is awarded on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.

JEFFREY K. ISRAELOW AND R. ROBERT FLEMING SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The late Jeffrey K. Israelow, Esquire was an outstanding member, trustee and former president of the Cape May County Bar Foundation. He was also a member and former chairman of the Supreme Court of New Jersey District I Ethics Committee, and served both his community and profession with distinction. The late R. Robert Fleming, Esquire was also an influential member of the Cape May County Bar Association. In addition to being a member, Robert served and represented the Cape May County Bar Association in every office. Robert was instrumental in establishing Cape Mediation Services and served on the District I Ethics Committee, the Family Law Committee of Cape May County Bar Association and the Board of Cape Atlantic Legal Services. He was a Diplomate in Municipal Law and was honored by his peers as Professional Lawyer of the Year in 1999.

This Scholarship Program was established to assist qualified Cape May County residents and graduates of its high schools to further their education and to foster the ideals of scholarship, public service and assistance to the community, which were embodied by Jeffrey K. Israelow and R. Robert Fleming during their lifetimes.

Pursuant to the Resolution of the Cape May County Bar Foundation, each scholarship awarded will be for the sum of $500.00 per year, to be available to the successful applicant for each year of consecutive full-time attendance in good standing at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university

DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

The Cape May County Bar Foundation recognizes the power, impact, and value of diverse voices in our profession. To support the proliferation of these voices, the Diversity Scholarship will be given to New Jersey residents attending ABA accredited law school who can share with us how diversity, inclusion, and allyship have affected their lives, and how they plan to advance these issues when they become members of this State’s legal community.

Amount & number of scholarships based on available funds raised through CMCBF Diversity Event. It is a one semester scholarship.
